llms.txt is a proposed standard for telling AI crawlers about your site in plain language. As of now, no major LLM provider has publicly committed to reading it at inference time, and server logs show AI crawlers request it in under 0.1% of cases. It costs nothing to add and positions your site correctly as the standard matures, but it is not an active citation driver today. Your package includes a client-specific llms.txt file with honest framing in the install guide — we will not tell you it does something it does not.
Traditional SEO audits focus on Google rankings. SEARCHRIFT audits focus on AI citations.
